Ahold Delhaize receives 2025 global Leading Employers award

February 20, 2025 – At the 2025 Leading Employers event held in Frankfurt this month, Ahold Delhaize was once again recognized as being among the top 1% of employers globally.  

In recognition of Ahold Delhaize’s qualities as an employer, the global Leading Employers award was presented to Gez Asafu-Agyei, Director Strategic Partnerships at Ahold Delhaize Group, and Eline van der Hulst, NextCo member and Manager Area Delivery e-Commerce at Albert Heijn.  

Leading Employers is an independent organization that conducts a comprehensive meta-study to analyze companies’ employment practices. The sources used to evaluate and assess the companies include public surveys, employee reviews, audits, jury awards and memberships. The analysis is carried out using a weighted evaluation matrix.  

The Leading Employers certification highlights Ahold Delhaize’s progress in its Thriving People strategic priority, part of our broader Growing Together strategy, which drives our aspiration to be the leading (#1 or #2) employer of choice in each market.
