Super Indo distributes COVID-19 emergency relief to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government
August 9, 2021 – As Indonesia is currently experiencing a surge of COVID-19 cases and a shortage of oxygen cylinders, Super Indo is supporting the health crisis by distributing COVID-19 emergency relief to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
Earlier last week, 125 oxygen cylinders (6m3) equipped with medical oxygen regulators and 1000 food packages for health workers were handed directly from the Super Indo Vice President of Legal, Bambang Triwicaksono, to the Governor of DKI Jakarta Province. Super Indo will also distribute this humanitarian aid in stages to four other provinces, including East Java, West Java, Central Java, and Yogyakarta. East Java just received its allocation on Friday August 6.
The COVID-19 emergency aid for the five provinces will come to over €80,000 and will include 325 oxygen cylinders (6m3), 100 medical oxygen regulators, and 5000 basic food packages for health workers. This aid has been made possible with the help of funds provided by Ahold Delhaize and its brands. And, to further support associates, customers and local communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, Ahold Delhaize and its brands contributed an additional provision of €10 million for charitable donations earlier this year.
